Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Wisdom is principle. As you acquire wisdom also get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).
Do you provide services to women?
Yes, but not all services are currently available to women. In the Lord's timing, we will have Christian providers who specialize in women's health. We invite you to pray with us as we seek out those healthcare providers.
Do you provide services to children?
Yes, but not all services are currently available to children. In the Lord's timing, we will have Christian providers who specialize in pediatric health. We invite you to pray with us as we seek out those healthcare providers.
Do I have to be a Christian to receive care from Third John?
No, but we only offer services according to our Bible-based, whole-person model. If your preferences for healthcare do not include biblical authority, then Third John may not be the best option for you.
How do I get labs and imaging completed?
We have partnered with national and local companies for these services. You will work with a team member to identify our closest partner in your location.
Where are your physical offices located?
Currently, we only provide telehealth services. We want to reach as many men as possible in the United States, and not being restricted to a physical location allows us to do so. However, we plan to have physical locations as the Lord permits.
Does direct primary care replace health insurance?
No. We encourage you to secure or maintain health insurance for specialty care, medical or psychiatric emergencies, surgeries, and other healthcare costs that exceed the primary care scope of practice.
Do I have to have health insurance to receive care from Third John?
No. Our membership includes all your basic primary care, urgent care, Christian counseling, exercise planning, and nutrition coaching. Our membership also includes reduced pricing for testosterone replacement therapy, medication-assisted weight management, psychotherapy, and psychiatry.
Can I use my health insurance with Third John?
Yes, we will use your health insurance if we are an approved provider of your health insurance plan. Health insurance is a complex business in the United States with approvals and denials for care determined by someone other than you and your healthcare provider. To ensure you receive the care you want and need with Third John, health insurance does not replace membership payments.
